Join us for a hands-on day of training and professional development in creative, academic and social-emotional strategies for teaching visual and performing arts in an alternative setting.

Teachers will:

• Get a chance to meet and connect with other VAPA teachers from across the network at an in-person event

• Learn strategies and best practices for teaching visual and performing arts in alternative settings

• Gain social-emotional and culturally responsive skills and practices for working with students of all types, backgrounds, skills and interests

• Develop a tool kit of practices & principles for effective classroom management and class community development

• Get inspired, equipped & empowered by new tools & approaches to VAPA education
